- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease a 26 cm springform.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, mix quark, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt well.
- Step 3: Add the melted butter and mix everything well.
- Step 4: Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir until smooth.
- Step 5: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared springform and arrange the peach slices on top.
- Step 6: Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Step 7: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Store the cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze it in slices for later enjoyment.
