Ingredients
  

For the Cake Base
  • 500 g Quark for the creamy base
  • 200 g Sugar for the sweet note
  • 3 Eggs for binding
  • 1 packet Vanilla Sugar for extra flavor
  • 100 g Butter melted for richness
  • 200 g Flour base of the cake
  • 1 packet Baking Powder to help the cake rise
  • 4 Fresh Peaches sliced for filling
  • 1 pinch Salt to enhance flavors
  • Powdered Sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease a 26 cm springform.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, mix quark, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt well.
  3. Step 3: Add the melted butter and mix everything well.
  4. Step 4: Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir until smooth.
  5. Step 5: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared springform and arrange the peach slices on top.
  6. Step 6: Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Step 7: Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store the cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze it in slices for later enjoyment.
