- Step 1: Preheat oven to 175°C and grease your favorite baking pan, like a Gugelhupf or springform pan.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, milk, instant banana pudding, oil, and eggs. Beat with a hand mixer for about 2 minutes until well blended and moist.
- Step 3: Gently fold in the mashed banana and strawberries to keep the fruity flavor.
- Step 4: Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the surface.
- Step 5: Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick: it should come out clean.
- Step 6: Let cake cool 10 to 12 minutes in the pan, then carefully remove and cool completely.
- Step 7: For the frosting, beat softened butter and cream cheese until creamy.
- Step 8: Stir in vanilla extract and mashed strawberries.
- Step 9: Gradually add powdered sugar until frosting reaches desired consistency—spreadable but not too runny.
- Step 10: Spread frosting evenly over completely cooled cake. Optionally, garnish with fresh strawberries.

Tipp: Für eine größere Menge das Frosting verdoppeln. Den Kuchen im Kühlschrank aufbewahren, so bleibt das Frosting frisch und lecker. Variationen mit anderen Beeren, Nüssen oder Schokotropfen sind möglich. Für vegane Version Eier durch Apfelmus oder Leinsamen-Eier ersetzen und veganen Kuchenmix sowie Frischkäse verwenden.
